What the Hell Have We Done…
Hey all,
We are Grant and Charlotte, according to our close Aussie friends we have done something crazy…we have left the balmy tropical lifestyle of life in board shorts and bikinis, cruising around WhitSunday Islands barely seeing a day go below 20 degrees Celsius! For what you say, well our Tribe will be adventuring on the Canadian Prairies this winter – what could possibly await us? what could possibly go wrong…?
A bit about us
We are a happily married couple, we met through exercise but it was the adventure that made us stick, 20 years later we have lived in 2 countries, about to make it our third, and been blessed with 4 awesome children who like us are ready to take on anything…
Our passions are many, but family comes first. Keeping fit, staying active and creating adventure from our surroundings is what we love most, from kitesurifng the crystal clear water in the tropics, diving the Great Barrier reef, traveling with 4 kids and competing in triathlons to name a few.
From Australia to the Prairies
We timed our relocation to hopefully assist in a slow transition as we have arrived at the start of the Prairie Summer. We have no idea what on earth awaits us in the looming -40deg cel winter…so be prepared to laugh but hopefully help as we come and enjoy our first snow, our first ski and our first white Christmas!
We will use this site to share with friends and family our adventures through a country that we have never seen, we are confident we will meet many new great friends along the way. I’m even more confident we will do some stupid things, and things we know absolutely nothing about so I look forward to sharing with you our antics, hopefully get some help along the way from our fellow Canadians.
